Amy Obenski

"A vortex you can get lost in with Obenski's voice gently pulling you in..."

Amy Obenski's sweet yet powerful vocals are always at the forefront of her music treating each word with care and attention. The music glides seamlessly between Folk, Jazz and Rock, with her vocals shape-shifting to fit the mood.

With "gripping" lyrics and "haunting" vocals, Obenski's songs are conveyed to the audience on a extraordinarily intimate level (Good Times Santa Cruz, High Bias).

Her words delve into what it is to be human and the thoughts and actions that connect and unify us. The experience is almost like she's reading your mind. When under her spell, it is quite common to see an audience brought to tears.

Obenski's first success landed in her lap when an MTV executive approached her after hearing her songs on someone's iPod. Her first album, "What We Tell", was then licensed by MTV for use in their show, "MADE".

Obenski has received radio play throughout the West Coast, Alaska, and Massachusetts and tours regularly throughout the West Coast.

Her home base is in Santa Cruz, California, where she lives with her husband and commits herself to environmental causes in the community.

Ariel Thiermann

Santa Cruz, California based singer/songwriter Ariel — also part of the a cappella trio Mayim — invites her listeners on a musical journey filled
with beauty, light, and hope, rooted in a passionate commitment to empowering the authentic voice within
us all.

With an eclectic style that combines soaring piano ballads with raw spoken-word poetry, Ariel weaves themes of love, spiritual awakening, and reverence for nature into her songs. Reminding us of our own innate wisdom and capacity to shine, Ariel is a powerful voice in the movement of personal and global transformation.

"On Ariel's latest CD, Behold, she is looking beyond the girl-with-guitar mode of traditional coffeehouse folk with the notion to move into territory once gloriously occupied by such icons as Joan Armatrading and Laura Nyro by performing songs of depth and passion married to nuanced musical arrangements."
~ Wallace Baine, Santa Cruz Sentinel
